A Quick Trip to Europe

My wife and I took advantage of cheap airfare to Amsterdam, with the opportunity to visit my sister in Brussels. By the time the jetlag wore off, it was time to fly back home. But! It was well worth it, and we got to see some great sights. Roman ruins in Bavay, France. A castle in ruins near Brussels. The “blue forest” of the Zonienwoud. The cathedral in Aachen, Germany where Charlemagne’s remains are kept. Plus some great food and drink.

Also, this was the lightest I’ve traveled for a trip: Leica M8, Voigtlander 28mm f/2, 3 batteries and a charger. It was great.
